In Riyadh & London a momentous occasion unfolded as HRH Princess Noura Bint Saud Bin Nayef Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud presented a prestigious recognition to five distinguished companies, celebrating their exceptional contributions to global commerce, culture, and innovation. The award, a G20 Saudi Arabia 2020 Banknote plated in 24K gold and depicting King Khalid, symbolised the Kingdom’s patronage and high regard for excellence. Among the recipients were Sotheby’s, Elaph, Air Jordan Tour, Tait, Sigulp and The Garage, highlighting the global impact of these leading organisations.

Although Othman Al Omeir, the visionary Chairman of Elaph, was unable to attend the ceremony in Riyadh, the award was later presented during the symposium of the Creative Women Platform (CWP) in London. Olga Balakleets, the Founder and CEO of the CWP, had the honour of handing over the award on behalf of HRH Princess Noura, reflecting the global nature of this recognition. The presentation in London highlighted the international reach and significance of Elaph’s achievements, resonating with audiences far beyond the Kingdom.
Known for his trailblazing contributions to media and journalism, Othman Al Omeir has consistently championed the power of independent journalism to bridge cultural divides and promote dialogue. Under his leadership, Elaph has cemented its reputation as a cornerstone of modern media, reaching millions of readers globally and reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to innovation and progress.
Elaph’s recognition at the Creative Women Forum further underscores its role in shaping narratives and fostering international collaboration. As a media partner for the forum, Elaph amplified the event’s message of empowerment, inclusivity, and innovation, ensuring its impact resonated far and wide. The forum, supported under the patronage of HRH Princess Noura, celebrated the achievements of women leaders across various sectors, reflecting the Kingdom’s dedication to fostering creativity and progress.
The award presentation marked a significant moment for both Elaph and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative. By spotlighting organisations like Elaph, the Kingdom showcases its unwavering commitment to recognising excellence and fostering global partnerships through creativity, culture, and commerce.
The presentation of the G20 Saudi Arabia 2020 Gold Banknote not only celebrated the achievements of exceptional companies like Elaph but also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to lead the way in global innovation, inclusivity, and cultural exchange.
